Being able to see family and friends again has really boosted my spirits. And while the weather’s been far from perfect, somehow sitting in a beer garden, surrounded by nature and good friends, and laughing till my sides hurt has been the tonic I didn’t realise I needed –So I thought I’d share some of the best pub gardens near me that I can’t wait to revisit - plus a few style vibes to inspire you.
All these beer gardens are dog-friendly too – I wouldn’t be without Ted by my side :)
The Albion, Islington N1 1HW
If you’re missing summer holidays, head to The Albion. Honestly, I always feel like I’m relaxing at an Italian villa when I’m in this European-style beer garden in Islington. Its walled garden and plant-adorned veranda is full of vines and twisted willow trees. Order a roast (they’re award-winning) a negroni and write off a Sunday afternoon.
Style vibe: Fresh & inspiring - so my elegant Cherry Blossom Branch Necklace fits right in.
The Freemason’s Arms, Hampstead NW3 1NT
With its large garden, stunning outdoor terrace and achingly cool skylit conservatory, the Freemason’s is my go-to place when I want to do a little people watching or celeb spotting. One of the best al fresco dining in London, their cocktails are amazing too (try the Pineapple Daiquiri).
Style vibe: Elegant & sophisticated - so my classic Halo Necklace will be ideal.
The Spaniards Inn, Hampstead NW3 7JJ
An absolute favourite of mine, this leafy pub garden is, quite simply, huge. Full of lush green trees, palms, plants, plenty of cosy alcoves and tables, and even an outdoor bar.
Style vibe: Understated & stylish - so my dainty Rose Earrings will help keep things chic.
The Fence, Farringdon EC1M 6BP
Just a few minutes from my Hatton Garden studio, The Fence is a team favourite for after-work pitchers. And for a pub garden that’s right in the heart of the City, it somehow manages to make it feel a world away.
Style vibe: Bold & playful - my Shark jawbone ring will look great against a fruity Pimm’s backdrop.
The Ferry Boat Inn, Tottenham N17 9NG
Just off the River Lea path, the beer garden here is long and very chilled…just like theirs drinks menu :) It even overlooks the nature reserve next door, so I get to combine two of my favourite things (gin and nature, in case you didn’t know).
Style vibe: City seaside escape - wear my pretty shell and pearl necklace to feel right at home.
